Our product line

We manufacture our own line of backpacks, Mate bags, shoulder bags in our own workshop.

Product Features

Our products are not manufactured on an industrial scale, they are entirely made by hand.

All wool products are woven on a loom. Each product is unique and exclusive since the looms and aguayos with which they are made are also unique.

Warranty

All Las Merinas products can be exchanged or returned. They are also protected with a manufacturing warranty so that in the event of any damage or defect arising from normal use, you can contact us to replace it at no cost.

With successive washings, Las Merinas wool garments can lose color throughout their life. This happens due to the particular process with which the dye of this loom fabric is made. This characteristic is also typical of garments with special dyeing processes.

It is also common to see stitches or knots typical of the loom technique in wool fabrics.  The nature of the loom technique consists of closing the stitches with these particular characteristics. It is possible to observe that the weave, drawing and/or symmetry is not identical in both pairs when it comes to footwear, since it is related to the way the product is made by hand. All these details do not imply a defect in the product.

Product Care

Wool products such as backpacks are completely washable. We leave you here some recommendations for better care of them:

• Wash products by hand, never in a washing machine.
• Use good quality liquid detergents. To leave them more scented and softer, you can complete the wash with some wool softener.
• Some strong colors (such as red or fuchsia) can release dyes, so we recommend not letting them soak for many hours in a row; or change the water frequently to prevent other colors from staining.
• Do not mix with other clothes.
• Dry in the sun, do not use heat dryers or spin cycles.
• Do not store them wet since, like all wool products, they may acquire a bad smell or deteriorate in quality.
